I love helping young athletes in Cottleville discover what they can do when someone believes in them. With Casey Teson Basketball Academy and our focused basketball coaching, players feel supported, pushed in the right ways, and proud of how much they grow on and off the court.
When kids start seeing their game improve, life gets brighter. They feel stronger at school, more sure of themselves with friends, and excited to show what they can do. That mix of real skill and real confidence is exactly what our basketball coaching builds every day.

The kind words from families mean everything to us, and we are grateful for every one. Check out the beautiful things people have to say about us:
These one-hour and fifteen-minute sessions build complete basketball skills. Players train through game-style situations, sharpen shooting, improve ball handling, learn finishing moves, practice ball screens, and work on targeted skills.
Group workouts run as a 10-week academy, offered once a week for $345 or twice a week for $545.

We make the whole process smooth so you can relax knowing we have everything covered. You get to enjoy watching your athlete grow while we handle the planning and the work.

Most kids can start basketball training around age six. We shape each basketball training session so your child can learn fundamental basketball skills like footwork, layups, and simple ball handling at a pace that feels comfortable. Whether your player is a beginner or already has some individual skills, we focus on building confidence, fun, and strong habits that help them develop through every season.
Yes, we offer both. Private training gives your athlete focused time with a basketball trainer who helps improve basketball skills, basketball IQ, and decision-making. Group training feels more like the game, allowing players to run basketball drills, learn defense, practice passing, and work through real situations with a team. Our group setup feels similar to basketball camps, where kids get to play, learn new ideas, and enjoy the sport with others.
Many parents notice progress within a few weeks. When athletes work hard, stay consistent, and show up ready to learn, their shooting, ball handling, scoring moves, and overall confidence improve quickly. Because we focus on strong fundamentals, new drills, and smart practice, players often see changes in both skill and mindset, on the court, at school, and in everyday life.
Absolutely. We love helping beginner basketball players build a solid base of fundamentals, footwork, and easy-to-learn drills. We keep things simple at first, and then help them grow into more advanced skills at a comfortable pace. Many of our young athletes start with no experience, just excitement for the sport, and quickly start to develop the confidence to play the game with joy.
Yes. We work with high school, competitive, and advanced athletes who want stronger individual skills, more control, and higher basketball IQ. We break down scoring moves, advanced ball handling, defense, and decision making, the same areas that serious basketball players and even professional basketball player hopefuls work on.
Some of our methods are influenced by the same training styles used in USA Basketball, college programs, and even NBA teams like the Brooklyn Nets. No matter the skill level, we help athletes reach the next step.
Yes, we do. We take time to correct shooting form, body position, and footwork, then rebuild the motion in a way that feels natural. Players practice their shot through a mix of targeted drills, fundamentals, and game-like reps so the improvements feel real during play. This helps both boys and girls sharpen their accuracy and confidence the more they train.
Most sessions last between 45 and 60 minutes, depending on the program. During that time, athletes move through focused skill development, basketball drills, scoring moves, and new drills that match their goals. Whether your player wants to get better before the fall season, make their high school team, or prepare for camp, each session has a clear plan and purpose.
Yes. We train in every season, off-season, pre-season, and in-season. Athletes who train year-round often see the strongest growth because they stay active, build good habits, and stay confident on the court.
Whether your family is local to Cottleville or coming from nearby areas in Missouri, like Jefferson City, your athlete can attend sessions whenever it fits your schedule. We also offer seasonal basketball camps that bring extra reps, new coaching ideas, and more chances to play and learn.
