The “Next Up” 3 on 3 league is a way for players to hone their skills in a competitive environment.

Each division will consist of teams up to 4-6 players per roster. Every team will play at least two games per night, and will be in charge of substitutions and coaching. This allows players to figure out solutions, and work together. Games will be held every Wednesday night. Each Division will have a separate time slot to compete.

Divisions will consist of the following age groups:

  • Varsity Boys

  • JV Boys

  • Incoming 8th Grader Boys

  • Incoming 7th Grader Boys

Games will be three 7-minute periods with a target score in the 3rd quarter.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • How long are the games, and how is scoring handled?

    Games are three 7-minute periods with a target score to reach during the third period.

  • How many players are on a team?

    There is 6-player maximum for each team.

  • How is playing time handled?

    Player replacements will occur on dead ball situations. Players will be in charge of substitutions. They are expected to talk amongst themselves about equal opportunity, and show willingness to win together without coaching influence.

  • What does my player need?

    Each player should bring their team jersey, their basketball shoes, a basketball, and their own water.

  • What day does the the league take place on?

    Every Wednesday from June 4th to August 6th.

  • What should we wear to the game?

    We will give the players a jersey at week one that they will keep.

  • What if one of our players forgets their jersey?

    The opposing team will get to shoot two free throws for every jersey left at home.

  • How do I sign up?

    One parent from each team will sign up the team and pay the full amount. Then the other parents will have to go through and register their kid and sign the waiver.

  • What times are the games?

    5:00pm - 7th Grade Boys

    6:00pm - 8th Grade Boys

    7:00pm - Junior Varsity Boys

    8:00pm - Varsity Boys
