Grateful for Our Saint Charles Basketball Community

We’re so thankful for the feedback and kind words we’ve received from families and players. Check out the beautiful things people have to say about us:

I trust Casey completely with basketball training for my son, Luke. He is an excellent teacher, pays attention to detail and cares about him on and off the court. Luke’s growth as a high school basketball player can be attributed directly to the last several years working with Casey.

Kevin Walsh | Vianney High School Varsity Coach

Casey does a great job of pushing my kids to realize their full potential. He challenges them to improve in the areas they have gaps, and highlights the areas where they are strong. They have become smarter and better players by working with and learning from Coach Teson.

Frequently Asked Questions About Basketball Lessons in Saint Charles

What kind of basketball training do you offer?

We offer a full range of basketball training programs designed for all skill levels — from beginner youth and kids just learning fundamental basketball skills to high school and college athletes preparing for the next level. Our basketball training sessions focus on improving ball handling, shooting, passing, lay ups, footwork, defense, and decision making. Whether your child dreams of becoming a professional basketball player or simply wants to enjoy the sport, we make sure every session is packed with fun, purpose, and results.

What happens during a typical basketball training session?

Each basketball training session is built around skill development and game situations. Players work through a variety of basketball drills that focus on individual skills like scoring moves, ball handling, and shooting form. We also include team-focused activities to improve basketball IQ, decision making, and understanding of court spacing. Sessions might feature new drills, situational play, and challenges that help athletes build confidence and learn how to perform under pressure — just like they would in a real game.

What makes your basketball coaching different from others?

We combine top-notch coaching with a focus on skill development and real game situations. Our basketball training is about more than just drills — it’s about helping players understand the “why” behind every move. We teach basketball IQ, help athletes improve their form, and guide them on how to read the court and make smart plays. Our approach blends individual skills with team concepts, so players learn how to contribute to their team while still improving personally.

How often do the camps and training sessions run?

We run basketball camps throughout the year, including summer and fall sessions, as well as weekly basketball training programs during the school season. Many families sign up for a week-long camp during school breaks, while others choose ongoing weekly training to keep their child improving during the season. No matter the schedule, we make sure every player gets quality time on the court and plenty of opportunities to practice new skills and drills.

What should players bring to a basketball camp or training session?

Players should wear comfortable athletic gear and basketball shoes, bring a water bottle, and, if possible, their own basketball. Most importantly, they should come ready to learn, practice, and work hard. We provide all the resources, drills, and coaching needed to improve — they just need to bring their focus and energy. Parents can rest assured that our sessions are well-structured, safe, and designed to make every player better.

What are the steps of signing up?

The first step is to take a look at the schedule to see when your son/daughter’s group is working out. Email [email protected] to reserve your spot. Then, go to the sign up button and register through Ryzer. Once we see that you have signed up, we will put your son/daughter’s name in the spot you reserved. THIS IS A FIRST COME FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS. Once all 10 slots are filled, that session will be marked off as closed.

Do you do team trainings?

Yes, I need at least eight kids in the group to have a team training. I will reserve a time slot that best fits the teams schedule. I will have each individual player sign up similar to registering for a group training. In the email to [email protected], reserve your spot by putting in the subject of the email the team you are with and your son/daughter’s name.

Have any questions?

We’d be more than happy to answer any other questions. Please contact Casey at [email protected]! Or send a text or give a call at (314) 873-5901!

Do you work with beginners, or is this only for advanced players?

We welcome players of all skill levels. Beginners learn the fundamentals like dribbling, passing, and shooting, while advanced players focus on higher-level skills such as decision-making, scoring moves, and game IQ.

What can players expect to learn at a training session or camp?

Each session is focused on improving basketball fundamentals—ball handling, footwork, defense, shooting, and passing. Players also learn how to read the game better, make smart decisions, and build confidence on the court.

What should players bring to practice or camp?

Players should bring basketball shoes, comfortable athletic clothing, a water bottle, and their own basketball if possible. We’ll provide the structure, drills, and fun.
