Build stronger fundamentals, sharper shooting, better ball handling, and more confidence with basketball lessons in Kirkwood, MO.

Players often look for basketball lessons when team practice alone does not provide enough time to correct shooting mechanics, sharpen ball handling, improve footwork, or repeat specific skills. Focused instruction gives athletes more opportunities to work on the details of their game.
We teach basketball fundamentals through structured drills, game-like situations, shooting instruction, ball-handling exercises, finishing work, footwork, passing, and decision-making. Our goal is to help players understand what they are practicing and build better habits through purposeful repetitions.

Basketball lessons give players dedicated time to work on technique, repeat important skills, understand game situations, and build confidence through consistent instruction rather than relying only on regular team practices.

Check out the beautiful things people have to say about us:
I trust Casey completely with basketball training for my son, Luke. He is an excellent teacher, pays attention to detail and cares about him on and off the court. Luke’s growth as a high school basketball player can be attributed directly to the last several years working with Casey.
Kevin Walsh | Vianney High School Varsity Coach
Casey does a great job of pushing my kids to realize their full potential. He challenges them to improve in the areas they have gaps, and highlights the areas where they are strong. They have become smarter and better players by working with and learning from Coach Teson.

Structured basketball instruction helps athletes use practice time intentionally by combining clear teaching, focused skill work, repetition, and situations that connect individual fundamentals with the way basketball is actually played.

Our basketball training focuses on the skills players use during real games. Training sessions can include shooting, dribbling, passing, ball handling, finishing, footwork, agility, defense, and decision-making. We also use game-like workouts so athletes can practice using those skills under pressure.
Skill development is about more than learning one move. Our coaches and basketball trainers aim to help players understand when and how to use each skill on the court. Teaching may also include communication, teamwork, sportsmanship, confidence, leadership, and other habits that support a player's overall development.
Yes. Our programs are designed to support basketball players with different levels of experience. A beginner may spend more time learning proper shooting form, dribbling, passing, footwork, and other fundamentals. More advanced players may work on scoring moves, ball-screen situations, decision-making, agility, and applying their skills against tougher competition.
Each trainer or instructor works to make training useful for the athletes participating in the session. No matter a player's current ability, the goal is to provide focused practice that helps them continue learning, playing, and building confidence.
Our currently published group training sessions are 75 minutes long. Each session gives players time to work on several areas of basketball while getting instruction, completing workouts, and repeating important skills.

We want athletes to spend useful time in the gym instead of simply going through drills without a clear purpose.

That basketball background and coaching expertise help shape an approach centered on fundamentals, skill development, teaching, and real game situations. A good basketball trainer does more than demonstrate drills. The instructor should explain what players are learning, correct mistakes, encourage effort, and help athletes understand how their skills connect to playing the game.
Our goal is to create a supportive and dedicated training environment where respect, communication, commitment, and development matter.
Our published schedule uses different schools, churches, and gym locations, mainly in the St. Charles County area. We do not currently list one permanent Kirkwood location, so Kirkwood families should check the latest schedule before leaving for a training session.
Players from Kirkwood, the Chesterfield area, St. Louis, and surrounding communities may participate depending on location and availability. Because gym space and programs can change during the year, checking the website or calling before registration is the best way to confirm where a specific class, clinic, or basketball training session will be held.
